Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, and internet sites; provides organization information, opportunities, and benefits; makes presentations; maintains rapport.
Works directly with hiring manager for obtaining a job requisition and executive approval.
Conducts full life-cycle recruiting. Reviews incoming resumes, conducts phone screens, provides feedback to hiring manager.
Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranges travel, lodging, and meals; escorts applicant to interviews; arranges job site tours.
Follows up in-person, via phone, and via email with interviewers to receive feedback.
Produces routine reports with hiring needs, interviewees, roles open for recruitment, and various recruiting statistics.
Manages employee referral program.
College recruiting oversight. Works closely with College Recruiting Committee for attracting interns and entry level full-time applicants. Maintains company recruiting material supplies, shipments, and preparation of career fair attendance travel, hotel
stays, and school registrations.
Maintains Affirmative Action recruiting efforts. Is mindful of company goals and takes strides and efforts to maintain compliance. Records efforts and overall educates hiring managers with compliance efforts related to recruiting.
Manages company-wide job descriptions.
Drafts offer letters and other related recruitment administration.
Other duties as assigned.
Candidate should have high independent thinking skills, good judgment, and overall excellent organizational skills. Ideal candidates should be able to work with all levels of the organization, take direction well, and have a sense of urgency to fill open
positions. Candidates should exude HR professionalism and decorum and present calmly under pressure.
Candidate should possess 3-7 years of experience as a member of an HR group. Candidate should possess at minimum 4 years of experience with life-cycle recruiting.
Candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in HR Management, Communications, or related field or possess a Master's degree in Human Resources.
